If you are driving from the center of Maré, head towards the ferry terminal where you will take the ferry to Nouméa. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour, and tickets can be purchased at the terminal for approximately 3,000 XPF (New Caledonian Franc) per person. Once you arrive at Nouméa, follow Avenue de la Victoire towards the city center. Continue onto Avenue du Maréchal Foch, where you will find the Musée de Nouvelle Calédonie at number 43. Parking is available nearby.

To reach Musée de Nouvelle Calédonie via public transport, first, you will need to take a taxi or shuttle from your location in Maré to the ferry terminal. After arriving at Nouméa by ferry, you can take a local bus towards the city center. The bus stop is located close to the ferry terminal. Get off at the stop labeled 'Centre Ville,' and from there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Follow Avenue de la Victoire and turn onto Avenue du Maréchal Foch. The museum will be on your left at 43 Avenue du Maréchal Foch.
