From the center of Exeter, head northeast on Front Street towards Water Street. Continue straight on Front Street as it turns into Epping Road (Route 27). After about 1 mile, turn left onto Kingston Road (Route 125). Walk for about 0.3 miles, and then turn right onto Route 101 East. Continue on Route 101 East until you reach Route 128. Merge onto Route 128 North and follow the signs for Gloucester. Take Exit 14 for Route 127 towards Gloucester. Continue on Route 127 until you reach Hesperus Ave. Turn right onto Hesperus Ave and the Hammond Castle Museum will be on your left at 80 Hesperus Ave.
Public Transport
Start at the Exeter Train Station and take the MBTA commuter rail towards Boston. Get off at the Rockport station. From there, you can catch the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) bus route 62 towards Gloucester. Once you arrive in Gloucester, disembark at the stop nearest to Hesperus Ave. Walk to Hesperus Ave, and the Hammond Castle Museum will be located at 80 Hesperus Ave.
