    If you are driving, start at the Franconia Notch State Park entrance on I-93. Head south on I-93 and take exit 34C for US-3 N. Continue on US-3 N for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Franconia Road and follow the signs for Franconia Iron Furnace, which will be on your right. There is no cost for parking near the furnace.

    If you are using public transportation, take the Concord Coach Lines bus to Franconia. From the bus stop in Franconia, you can either walk or take a taxi. The walk will take about 30 minutes.
