Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Jaffrey, NH, head southwest on NH-124 W/Main St toward NH-202 S. Continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Halfway House Rd. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will reach the trailhead at 246-252 Half Way House Rd, Jaffrey, NH 03452. There is parking available, but be sure to arrive early during peak seasons as spaces fill up quickly.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, take the bus from Keene, NH to Jaffrey. Once you arrive in Jaffrey, you can either take a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Halfway House Rd. The distance from Jaffrey’s bus station to the trailhead is roughly 3 miles, so a taxi could cost around $10-$15. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for the most accurate times.

  For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Jaffrey. Head southwest on NH-124 W/Main St toward Halfway House Rd.   For those staying in nearby accommodations, walking to the trailhead is an option. From Jaffrey’s town center, head southwest on NH-124 W/Main St for about 1.5 miles until you reach Halfway House Rd. Then turn left and walk another 0.5 miles to the trailhead. This walk is approximately 2 miles and should take about 40-50 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
