Drive up the Auto Road, which is a paved and well-maintained route, until you reach Tip Top House, located at the summit of Mount Washington.

    Public Transportation + Shuttle

    For those using public transportation, take the Concord Coach Lines bus from Boston to North Conway. From North Conway, you can catch the Moat Mountain Bus Company, which offers shuttle services to the base of Mount Washington Auto Road. Once you reach the Auto Road, you'll need to purchase a ticket for the shuttle service that takes you up to the Tip Top House. Be aware that the shuttle service may have limited hours, so check the schedule in advance.
