Car
If you are traveling by car, start on NH-16N from any location in Mount Washington. Follow NH-16N for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with US-302. Turn left onto US-302 W and continue for about 7 miles. You will then take a right turn onto Base Station Road (you'll see signs for The Mount Washington Cog Railway). Follow Base Station Road for about 1 mile until you arrive at the Cog Railway station located at 3168 Base Station Rd, Mount Washington, NH 03589. There is parking available on site. Note that there may be a parking fee depending on the season.

Public transportation options are limited in Mount Washington. However, if you are within walking distance to the nearest bus stop, take the Concord Coach Lines bus to the Gorham, NH stop. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you the remaining 10 miles to The Mount Washington Cog Railway at 3168 Base Station Rd. It's advisable to book your taxi in advance, as options may be limited. Be prepared for a fare that may range from $20 to $40 depending on the time of day.
