Car
If you are traveling by car from the center of Mount Washington, begin your journey by heading southeast on NH-16 S (White Mountain Highway) towards Conway. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit onto Kancamagus Highway (NH-112) towards Lincoln. Continue on Kancamagus Highway for about 13 miles. Look for the Rocky Gorge Scenic Area parking area on your right. The entrance is well-marked, and there is a small parking lot available.

For those relying on public transportation, you can use the local bus services that operate within the Mount Washington area. Take the Mount Washington Valley Transit bus towards Conway. Once you reach Conway, you will have to transfer to a shuttle service that heads towards the Kancamagus Highway. Be sure to check the shuttle timetable in advance as services may vary. Once you reach the Kancamagus Highway, walk approximately 0.25 miles to the Rocky Gorge Scenic Area entrance. Note that walking may be required as public transportation does not drop directly at the scenic area.
