From any location in Jersey City, head to the nearest PATH train station. If you're at the Exchange Place station, board a PATH train heading towards 33rd Street. After a short ride, disembark at the 33rd Street station. Once you exit the PATH station, walk to 6th Avenue and take a subway (F line) at the 34th Street-Herald Square station heading towards Jamaica-179th Street. Get off at the 42nd Street-Bryant Park station.

If you are near the waterfront in Jersey City, you can take the NY Waterway ferry. Head to the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal. Board the ferry that goes to the World Financial Center. From there, walk to the nearest subway station (World Trade Center station) and take the E train towards Jamaica Center. Get off at the 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal station. Then, transfer to the F line subway towards Jamaica-179th Street and get off at the 42nd Street-Bryant Park station.

Find a NJ Transit bus stop near your location. Take the bus that heads towards New York City, such as the 119 or the 126, which will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.
