From downtown Paterson, head to the nearest bus stop and take the NJ Transit bus #86 or #87 towards New York City. Make sure to check the schedule as buses run at different intervals throughout the day. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, exit the terminal and walk towards 8th Avenue. Turn right on 8th Avenue and walk north until you reach 41st Street. Turn left onto 41st Street, and then turn right onto Broadway. City Running Tours will be on your left at 1411 Broadway.

Begin your journey at the Paterson train station. Board a NJ Transit train on the Main/Bergen County Line heading towards Hoboken. After about 30 minutes, transfer at Secaucus Junction to a train bound for New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit and head towards 8th Avenue. Walk north on 8th Avenue until you reach 41st Street, then turn left onto 41st Street and right onto Broadway. City Running Tours will be located at 1411 Broadway, just a short walk from there.

If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can walk from downtown Paterson to the nearest bus stop or train station. Head towards Main Street and follow it south until you reach the Paterson train station. Once there, you can take the train as described above to reach City Running Tours. Alternatively, if you want to see more of the area, walk towards the Great Falls National Historical Park first, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and then make your way to the train station to continue your journey to New York City.
