From Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, head east on McBride Ave toward the intersection with I-80. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 62A for Route 19 S toward Newark. Merge onto Route 19 S and follow signs for I-95 S. Continue on I-95 S for approximately 13 miles. Take exit 17 for the Lincoln Tunnel toward New York City. Follow signs to the tunnel and cross into Manhattan. After exiting the tunnel, continue straight onto 42nd St. and take a right onto 7th Ave. Follow 7th Ave to Central Park South, then turn left. The Mall is on your right, where the sculpture 'Indian Hunter' is located.

From Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop on McBride Ave. Take the NJ Transit bus number 190 towards New York Port Authority Bus Terminal. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once at Port Authority, transfer to the subway by taking the A, C, or E line from 42nd St. to 59th St./Columbus Circle. At Columbus Circle, exit the station and walk east along Central Park South until you reach The Mall. The Indian Hunter sculpture is located in the central area of The Mall.
