From Hoboken Terminal, head towards the waterfront and locate the NY Waterway ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket to Midtown Manhattan (the ferry service operates frequently). Board the ferry and enjoy the scenic ride across the Hudson River to the West 39th Street terminal in Manhattan.

From Hoboken Terminal, take the PATH train to 33rd Street. Once you arrive at 33rd Street station, transfer to the 6 subway line at the 33rd Street subway station towards Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. Get off at the 68th Street-Hunter College station. From there, exit the station and walk east on East 68th Street towards Park Avenue, then turn left onto Park Avenue and walk north until you reach East 71st Street. Turn right and you will find Rumsey Playfield.

From Hoboken, you can take NJ Transit bus #126 towards New York Port Authority. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, walk to the 42nd Street subway station and take the 1 subway line uptown to the 66th Street-Lincoln Center station. Exit the station and walk east on 66th Street, then turn right onto Park Avenue and head north to East 71st Street, where Rumsey Playfield is located.
