Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Red Bank train station, exit the station and head south on West Front Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Maple Avenue. Turn left onto Maple Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will cross the bridge over the Navesink River, enjoying the view. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street, and then take the first left onto West Front Street. Finally, continue walking straight for about 2.5 miles, and you will arrive in the West Village area of New York City.

• Public Transit

  From Red Bank, walk to the Red Bank train station. Purchase a ticket for the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line towards New York Penn Station. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride through Monmouth County. After approximately 45 minutes, you'll arrive at New York Penn Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and take the subway. Follow the signs to the 1 subway line and take the train downtown towards South Ferry. Get off at 14th Street and 8th Avenue. From there, walk west to reach the West Village area.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Red Bank. Start from the rental location and head south on West Front Street towards Maple Avenue. Continue straight and bike over the bridge over the Navesink River. After crossing, follow the same route as the walking guidance, riding straight into the West Village area. Be sure to follow local biking rules and regulations for safety.
