PATH Train
From Hoboken Terminal, take the PATH train toward World Trade Center. Get off at the 33rd Street station. Once you exit the station, walk east on 33rd Street toward 6th Avenue. Turn left onto 6th Avenue and continue walking north until you reach 53rd Street. Turn right onto 53rd Street, and the 53rd Street Library will be on your left at 18 W 53rd St.
Bus
Head to the nearest bus stop on Washington Street in Hoboken. Take the NJ Transit bus 126 toward New York City. This bus will take you through the Lincoln Tunnel. Get off at the stop near 42nd Street and 8th Avenue. From there, walk east along 42nd Street to 6th Avenue, then turn north on 6th Avenue. Continue walking until you reach 53rd Street. Turn right onto 53rd Street, and the 53rd Street Library will be on your left at 18 W 53rd St.
Walking
If you prefer walking, head east on Newark Street from the waterfront, taking in the views of New York City. Continue straight to 1st Street and then turn right onto Washington Street. Walk north on Washington Street until you reach 14th Street. Turn left onto 14th Street, which will lead you to the PATH train station at Hoboken Terminal. From there, take the PATH train toward World Trade Center and get off at the 33rd Street station. Walk east on 33rd Street to 6th Avenue, turn left on 6th Avenue, and finally turn right on 53rd Street. The library will be on your left at 18 W 53rd St.
