Getting There

Ferry
From Hoboken, head to the Hoboken Terminal located at 1 Hudson Place. Once there, purchase a ticket for the NY Waterway ferry service to Midtown Manhattan. Board the ferry heading toward 39th Street. The ferry ride will take approximately 8-10 minutes. Upon arrival at the 39th Street dock, disembark and walk towards 8th Avenue.

From Hoboken Terminal, you can take the PATH train to 33rd Street station in Manhattan. Once you arrive at 33rd Street, transfer to the subway and take the C train towards World Trade Center. Get off at 59th Street – Columbus Circle. From there, walk east on Central Park South until you reach Central Park Zoo, which is located inside the park.

From Hoboken, you can take the NJ Transit bus #126 from the bus terminal on 1st Street. Get off at the stop at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan. From there, walk north on 8th Avenue to Central Park South, then walk east to enter Central Park. The zoo is located near the east side of the park.
