Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in central Hoboken, head towards Washington Street and go south until you reach 14th Street. Turn left onto 14th Street and walk towards the waterfront. Once you reach the Hudson River waterfront, you can catch the PATH train at the Hoboken Terminal. Take the PATH train towards 33rd Street and get off at the 33rd Street station. From there, you can walk east on 33rd Street until you reach 7th Avenue, then turn left and continue walking until you see Madison Square Garden on your right.

    From Hoboken, you can take NJ Transit bus 126 towards New York Port Authority. Board the bus at any bus stop along Washington Street. The bus will take you directly to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, which is just a short walk from Madison Square Garden. Once you arrive at the terminal, exit and walk north on 8th Avenue until you reach 34th Street. Turn right on 34th Street, and you will see Madison Square Garden on your left.

    Head to the Hoboken Terminal and look for the NY Waterway ferry service. Board a ferry heading to Midtown Manhattan. Once you arrive at the West 39th Street ferry terminal in Manhattan, exit the terminal and walk east towards 8th Avenue. Turn left on 8th Avenue and walk south until you reach 34th Street.
