From there, transfer to the 'E' subway line at 'World Trade Center' station and take the train towards 'Jamaica Center - Parsons/Archer'. After 2 stops, get off at 'Canal St' station. Exit the station and walk east on Canal St until you reach Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and walk north until you reach West 3rd St. Turn right on West 3rd St, and then left on MacDougal St. Cafe Wha? will be on your right.

    You can also take a NJ Transit bus from Jersey City. Head to the nearest bus stop for NJ Transit on Marin Blvd or Newark Ave and take the 119 bus towards 'New York Port Authority'. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, walk to the 'Times Square-42nd St' subway station and take the 'A' or 'C' subway lines towards 'Brooklyn'. After 2 stops, get off at 'West 4th St - Washington Sq' station. Exit the subway and walk south on Washington Square. Turn left on West 3rd St, and then left on MacDougal St. Cafe Wha? will be on your left.
