PATH Train
From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station, either at Exchange Place or Journal Square. If you're at Exchange Place, take the PATH train to World Trade Center station. If you're at Journal Square, take the PATH train towards 33rd Street and transfer at 9th Street to the train towards World Trade Center. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center, exit the station and walk towards the Oculus. From there, you can either walk or take the subway to the Lower East Side. Walk southeast towards Essex Street, and in about 15 minutes, you will reach Essex Market at 88 Essex St, New York, NY 10002.

Ferry
If you prefer a scenic route, head to the Liberty State Park where you can catch a ferry. Take the ferry to Battery Park in Manhattan. Once you arrive at Battery Park, exit the ferry and walk northeast on State Street. Turn left onto Broadway and walk until you reach Chambers Street. From there, take the subway (1 train) at the Chambers Street station towards South Ferry. Get off at the Canal Street station, and then transfer to the J or Z train towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Essex Street stop. Walk a short distance east on Essex Street, and you will find Essex Market at 88 Essex St, New York, NY 10002.

From Jersey City, locate a NJ Transit bus stop. You can take the NJ Transit bus 119 or 126 towards New York City. Once you arrive in Manhattan, get off at the stop closest to the Lower East Side. Walk east towards Essex Street and head south. Essex Market is located at 88 Essex St, New York, NY 10002, just a few blocks away from the bus stop.
