From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Metro-North station located at 2 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket to New York City. Board a southbound train towards Grand Central Terminal. The ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway.

At Grand Central Terminal, take the 4 or 6 subway line from the station. If you choose the 4 line, head towards Brooklyn Bridge. If you opt for the 6 line, take it towards Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Astor Place'.

After exiting the subway at Astor Place, walk south on Lafayette Street until you reach E. 4th St. Turn right onto E. 4th St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Orchard St. Turn left onto Orchard St, and you will find the Tenement Museum at 103 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002. It should take about 10 minutes to walk from the subway station.
