Getting There

• PATH TRAIN

  If you're near the PATH train stations in Jersey City, head to the Exchange Place station. From there, take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center station, follow the signs to exit onto Church Street. Walk east toward Liberty Street, then turn left onto Liberty Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Pearl Street. Turn right onto Pearl Street, and you'll find Fraunces Tavern at 54 Pearl St, New York, NY 10004.

• FERRY

  If you're near the Jersey City waterfront, you can take a ferry to Manhattan. Head to the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry heading to the World Financial Center. The ferry ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive, exit the terminal and walk north along Vesey Street until you reach Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street and walk until you reach Liberty Street. Turn left onto Liberty Street, then right onto Pearl Street. Fraunces Tavern will be located at 54 Pearl St.

• BUS

  For a bus option, find a NJ Transit bus stop near you. Look for bus numbers 119 or 126 that head towards New York City. Board the bus, and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once you arrive, exit the terminal and head towards 8th Avenue. Walk east and cross over to 7th Avenue, then walk south toward Liberty Street. Continue down Liberty Street until you reach Pearl Street, then turn right. Fraunces Tavern will be at 54 Pearl Street.

• WALKING

  If you are in the downtown area of Jersey City, you can simply walk to the location. Start at the corner of Montgomery Street and Washington Street. Head east on Montgomery Street until you reach the waterfront. Turn left onto the waterfront walkway and continue walking towards the PATH station at Exchange Place. Keep walking along the waterfront until you reach the footbridge leading to Manhattan. Once you cross over, follow the same route as the PATH train directions to Pearl Street.
