    From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station nearest to you. If you're in downtown Jersey City, you can take the PATH train from Exchange Place or World Trade Center station. Board the train heading towards 33rd Street in Manhattan. After a few stops, transfer at the 33rd Street station to the subway. Take the subway line 6 towards Pelham Bay Park. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Bronx Zoo station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the New York Botanical Garden. Exit the station and head northwest on Southern Blvd, and the garden will be on your left at 2900 Southern Blvd.

  • Ferry and Subway

    Make your way to the Liberty State Park Ferry Terminal in Jersey City. Take a ferry to Battery Park in Manhattan. Once you arrive, walk to the Bowling Green subway station and take the 4 or 5 train towards the Bronx. Transfer at the 138th Street-Grand Concourse station to the 6 train towards Pelham Bay Park. Get off at the Bronx Zoo station and walk 10 minutes to the garden at 2900 Southern Blvd. Head northwest on Southern Blvd to reach your destination.

    From Jersey City, make your way to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop that services routes to the Bronx. Take the NJ Transit bus #119 towards New York City. This bus will take you to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From the terminal, transfer to the subway and take the A train to 59th Street-Columbus Circle. Transfer to the 6 train towards Pelham Bay Park and get off at the Bronx Zoo station. Walk 10 minutes to the New York Botanical Garden at 2900 Southern Blvd.
