From there, walk east on 238th Street until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn right on Broadway and continue walking until you reach the bus stop for the BxM3 express bus.

    From the 238th Street subway station, board the BxM3 express bus towards Manhattan. The bus fare is $6.75 (payable with a MetroCard). Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop for Independence Avenue/Wave Hill. The garden will be a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Walking

    After getting off the BxM3 bus at Independence Avenue, walk north on Independence Avenue for about 5 minutes. Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center will be on your right at 4900 Independence Avenue.

  • Combination of Subway and Bus

    Alternatively, you can take the 4 train (green line) to the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium station. From there, transfer to the BxM4 bus towards Manhattan. Get off at the stop for Independence Avenue/Wave Hill. Then walk to the garden, which is a short distance away.
