Car
If you're driving, start by getting onto I-95 N from your current location. Follow the signs for the George Washington Bridge and merge onto I-95 N. Continue on I-95 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 6 for the Cross Bronx Expressway toward I-295 N. Merge onto the Cross Bronx Expressway and follow it for about 3 miles. Take exit 2 for the Bronx River Parkway N, and then take exit 1 for the Grand Concourse. Continue on Grand Concourse for about 1 mile. The Grand Concourse Historic District is located at 790 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10451. Please note there may be tolls on the George Washington Bridge.

To reach the Grand Concourse Historic District using the subway, locate the nearest subway station to you. If you are near Manhattan, take the 4 train from any of the downtown stations (such as 42nd St - Grand Central) heading towards Woodlawn. Ride the train for approximately 15 stops and alight at the 167th St station. From there, you can walk approximately 0.5 miles south down Grand Concourse to reach the Historic District at 790 Grand Concourse. A one-way subway fare is $2.75.

Bus
If you prefer to travel by bus, check for local bus services that connect to the Bronx. The Bx1 and Bx2 buses run along Grand Concourse. You can board either bus from various locations in Manhattan. If you are in the vicinity of 42nd St, you can take the Bx1 from 42nd St and 8th Ave. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at 790 Grand Concourse. The bus fare is $2.75, and you should have exact change or a MetroCard.
