Getting There

  • PATH Train

    To reach The High Line in New York from Jersey City, start by heading to the PATH train station nearest to you. If you are downtown, you can go to the Exchange Place station. Board a PATH train heading towards 33rd Street. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the 33rd Street station, exit the train and follow the signs to the 6th Avenue exit. After exiting the station, walk north along 6th Avenue for about 10 blocks until you reach West 14th Street. Turn left onto West 14th Street, and walk until you see the entrance to The High Line on your left.

  • Ferry

    You can also take the NY Waterway ferry to reach The High Line. Head to the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal in Jersey City. Board the ferry heading towards Manhattan, which will take you to the World Financial Center. Upon disembarking, walk towards West Street and follow it north until you reach Chambers Street. Turn left onto Chambers Street and continue straight until you reach 7th Avenue. From there, walk south on 7th Avenue until you get to West 14th Street. The High Line entrance will be on your right.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, you can take the NJ Transit bus from Jersey City. Head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop and catch the 126 or 127 bus towards New York City. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop at 8th Avenue and West 14th Street. From there, walk east along West 14th Street until you find the entrance to The High Line on your left.
