    If you are near the PATH train station at Exchange Place, exit the station and head southwest on Montgomery Street. Continue on Montgomery Street for about 0.5 miles, passing by several shops and cafes. The Jersey City Historic District will be located at 30 Montgomery Street on your right. Look for the building that houses the historic preservation office.

    From the Liberty State Park, head towards the Liberty Science Center. Exit the park and walk towards the direction of the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront promenade until you reach Montgomery Street. Turn left onto Montgomery Street and walk approximately 0.3 miles until you reach 30 Montgomery Street, the location of the Jersey City Historic District.
