Continue on Route 36, then take a right onto Navesink Avenue, which will lead you towards Sandy Hook. Follow the signs for Sandy Hook and the park entrance. Once you enter, continue on Hartshorne Drive until you reach the Sandy Hook Lighthouse located at 84 Mercer Rd, Highlands, NJ 07732. Note that there may be a parking fee of approximately $15 for the day.

If you're traveling by public transportation, take the NJ Transit train to the Hazlet station. From Hazlet, catch the NJ Transit bus #834 towards Atlantic Highlands.
