    Start at the Lambertville City Hall located at 18 N Main St. Head north on N Main St toward Bridge St. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the Delaware River. Cross the bridge into New Hope, Pennsylvania, and then follow the signs to the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge. Once across the bridge, continue straight onto S Main St for about 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with E Bridge St. Turn right onto E Bridge St and continue until you reach the intersection with 7th St. Turn left onto 7th St, and the Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be on your right at 532 N 7th St in Philadelphia.

    From Lambertville, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop on N Main St. Take the NJ Transit bus toward Trenton. Get off at the Trenton Train Station. From there, transfer to the SEPTA train heading toward Philadelphia. Get off at the 8th St station in Philadelphia. Exit the station and walk north on 8th St until you reach the intersection with N 7th St. Turn left onto N 7th St, and the Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be at 532 N 7th St on your right.
