Public Bus
From Lambertville, you can take a NJ Transit bus. Head to the nearest bus stop on Route 29, near the Lambertville New Hope Ferry. Board the bus labeled 'Route 1 - Trenton' and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for 'Hopewell.' The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Hopewell, walk east on East Broad Street until you reach Woodens Lane. Turn left onto Woodens Lane and walk for about 0.5 miles. Howell Living History Farm will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bike in Lambertville. Start by heading northwest on Bridge Street, then take a left onto Route 29. Follow Route 29 until you reach the intersection with County Route 654 (Woodens Lane). Turn left onto Woodens Lane and continue for about 1.5 miles. Howell Living History Farm will be on your left. The ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your speed.

Walk
For a scenic walk, head north on North Main Street from downtown Lambertville until you reach the intersection with Route 29. Cross Route 29 and continue onto the walking path that runs parallel to the Delaware River. Follow the path until you reach the bridge over the river, then cross the bridge into New Jersey. Once across, follow the road to the left, which will turn into Route 29. Continue on Route 29 until you reach County Route 654 (Woodens Lane). Turn left onto Woodens Lane and walk for about 1.5 miles. Howell Living History Farm will be on your left. The walk will take approximately 1 hour.
