From downtown Paterson, walk to the nearest bus stop on Broadway and catch the NJ Transit bus # 190 towards New York. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Main St and 14th St in Passaic. Transfer to the NJ Transit bus # 78 towards Flushing. Continue on this bus for about 25 minutes until you arrive at the stop on Roosevelt Ave. Arthur Ashe Stadium will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Head to the Paterson train station located on Market St. Take the NJ Transit train toward Hoboken. Change trains at Secaucus Junction and catch the train to New York Penn Station. From Penn Station, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Jamaica Station. From Jamaica Station, transfer to the E subway train towards World Trade Center. Get off at Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Ave. Then, transfer to the 7 subway train towards Flushing and get off at Flushing-Main St Station. From there, walk about 15 minutes to Arthur Ashe Stadium located at 124-02 Roosevelt Ave.

If you are near the Great Falls National Historical Park in Paterson, you can walk towards the intersection of Market St and Main St. From there, head northeast on Main St until you reach the bus terminal. Catch a bus number 190 or 78 towards Flushing and follow the previous directions to reach Arthur Ashe Stadium.
