    Getting There

    Bus

    From Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. You can catch the NJ Transit bus #190 towards New York Port Authority. This bus runs frequently and will take you directly to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, you will be just a short walk away from Times Square. Exit the terminal onto 42nd Street, then head east for two blocks until you reach 7th Avenue. Times Square is located at the intersection of 42nd Street and 7th Avenue.

    Train

    Walk to the Paterson train station located at 1 Market Street. Take a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line or the Morris & Essex Line towards New York Penn Station. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Penn Station. From Penn Station, exit onto 34th Street and walk east to 6th Avenue. Turn right and walk north for approximately 6 blocks until you reach 42nd Street. Then turn left to enter Times Square.

    Walking

    If you're closer to the center of Paterson, you can walk to the NJ Transit bus terminal located at 1 Market Street. From there, take the NJ Transit bus #190 to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit and walk east on 42nd Street. Continue for two blocks to 7th Avenue, where you will find Times Square.
