    Public Transit (Bus)

    From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the #74 bus towards New York Port Authority. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk to 42nd Street. From there, take the 7 subway line (Flushing-bound) to the last stop at 34th Street-Hudson Yards. Transfer to the A or C subway line towards Brooklyn and get off at 42nd Street-Port Authority. Finally, walk east towards the Hudson River and follow signs to the Hell Gate Bridge.

    Public Transit (Train)

    Start at the Paterson Train Station and take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Penn Station, follow signs to the A train (towards Inwood-207th Street). Ride the A train for about 8 stops until you reach 125th Street. Here, transfer to the 4 train (towards Woodlawn) for 2 stops to 138th Street-Grand Concourse. Exit and take a local bus or walk towards the East River to reach the Hell Gate Bridge.
