Getting There

    If you are starting from a central location in the Bronx, head to the nearest subway station that serves the 2 or 5 lines. For example, you can catch the 2 train at 149th Street-Grand Concourse Station or the 5 train at 138th Street-Grand Concourse Station. Purchase a MetroCard at the station; a single ride costs $2.75. Take the 2 or 5 train towards Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College or Eastchester-Dyre Avenue, respectively, and get off at the 3rd Avenue-149th Street Station. From there, transfer to the 6 train heading towards Pelham Bay Park and get off at the 138th Street-Grand Concourse Station.
