Walking
From the center of Red Bank, head northeast on Broad Street toward West Front Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Red Bank train station. From there, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train toward New York Penn Station. The ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station in New York City, exit the station and head to 7th Avenue. Walk north on 7th Avenue for approximately 2 miles until you reach Central Park. Enter the park and walk east toward East 65th Street. The Central Park Carousel will be on your right as you approach East 65th Street.
Bus
From Red Bank, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop at Broad Street and West Front Street. Take the NJ Transit bus number 834 or any bus heading toward New York City. The journey will take about 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive in New York City, get off at the nearest stop to Central Park. Walk north toward East 65th Street. The Central Park Carousel is located at 1802 E 65th St, within the park.
