Train
From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Train Station located at 2 Railroad Ave. You can walk there from most central locations in Greenwich. Once at the station, board a Metro-North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit.
Subway
After exiting Grand Central, walk to the nearby 42nd Street-Bryant Park Subway Station. Take the B, D, F, or M train towards 6th Avenue. Get off at the 42nd Street-Bryant Park stop and transfer to the 7 train towards Flushing. Get off at the 34th Street-Hudson Yards stop. From there, walk to the nearest subway entrance for the Q train at the 42nd Street-Times Square station and take the Q train towards Coney Island. Get off at the 57th Street stop, and then walk towards Central Park.
Bus
From Greenwich, you can take the CT Transit bus to Stamford. Once in Stamford, transfer to a New York City-bound bus (e.g., Greyhound or Peter Pan). These buses will take you to various locations in Manhattan. Once you arrive in Manhattan, you can use local buses or the subway to reach Central Park. The nearest bus stop to the Central Park Carousel is on 5th Avenue near 65th Street, a short walk from the carousel.
Walking
If you are already in Manhattan, you can walk to the Central Park Carousel from various nearby landmarks. For example, if you are near the Metropolitan Museum of Art, head west towards Central Park. Once you reach the park, follow the paths leading to the southern part of the park. The carousel is located at 1802 E 65th St, which is on the east side of the park near the 65th Street entrance.
