Train
From Red Bank station, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, follow the signs to the 34th Street exit. After exiting, walk east on 34th Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Empire State Building at 20 W 34th St.
Bus
Catch the NJ Transit Bus 834 from Red Bank to New York Port Authority Bus Terminal. The journey will take around an hour. After arriving at the terminal, exit and walk east on 42nd Street, then turn left onto 6th Avenue. Continue walking north until you reach 34th Street, then turn right. The Empire State Building will be on your left at 20 W 34th St.
Walking
If you're already in the downtown area of Red Bank, you can take a leisurely walk to the Red Bank train station, which is about 0.5 miles away. From there, board a train on the North Jersey Coast Line heading to New York Penn Station. After disembarking at Penn Station, follow 34th Street eastward for about 0.3 miles to reach the Empire State Building at 20 W 34th St.
