    From the Red Bank train station, exit onto West Front Street and head east. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Maple Avenue. Turn left onto Maple Avenue and walk for another 0.2 miles. At the end of Maple Avenue, turn right onto Monmouth Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and walk straight until you reach the Red Bank Municipal Plaza. From there, follow the signs for the ferry terminal and you will find the New Jersey Transit Ferry service, which will take you to Manhattan. Once you arrive in Manhattan, head towards the Canal Street station and transfer to the subway line that goes towards the East Side. Get off at Canal Street and exit the station. Walk east for about two blocks, and you will see the Mahayana Temple on your left at 133 Canal St.

  • Public Transit

    From the Red Bank train station, board a New Jersey Transit train heading towards New York Penn Station. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Penn Station, follow the signs to the subway and take the 1 train (red line) towards South Ferry. Get off at Canal Street station. After exiting the subway, walk east for about two blocks, and you will see the Mahayana Temple on your left at 133 Canal St.
