Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Red Bank train station, head south on West Front Street towards Maple Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and walk for another 0.2 miles. You will see the Count Basie Theatre on your right. Continue walking straight for about 0.1 miles, and then turn right onto West Monmouth Street. Walk for a few blocks until you reach the intersection with East Front Street, then turn left. Continue walking straight, and after about 0.5 miles you will arrive at the Red Bank Marina. From there, you can take the ferry to Manhattan. Once you arrive in Manhattan, walk towards Times Square which is approximately 0.6 miles from the ferry terminal. Follow the signs for Times Square.

  • Bus

    From the Red Bank train station, walk to the bus stop located at the intersection of West Front Street and Maple Avenue. Take the NJ Transit bus number 834 towards New York Port Authority. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, exit the terminal and walk east for about 0.5 miles. Follow 42nd Street towards Times Square. You will see the bright lights and large crowds as you approach this famous landmark.

  • Train

    Start your journey at the Red Bank train station. Purchase a ticket for the North Jersey Coast Line train heading towards New York Penn Station. The train ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the station and head towards 8th Avenue. Walk north on 8th Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach 42nd Street. Turn left on 42nd Street and continue walking straight for a few blocks until you reach Times Square. The excitement of the area will be very apparent as you approach.
