Bus
From Trenton, you can take the NJ Transit bus route 601 from the Trenton Train Station towards Philadelphia. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which will take approximately 45 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop near the intersection of 8th St and Girard Ave. From there, walk east along Girard Ave until you reach 7th St, then turn left and walk north until you arrive at 532 N 7th St, where the Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site is located.

Train
Begin at the Trenton Train Station and board an NJ Transit train heading to Philadelphia. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the Philadelphia's Jefferson Station. From Jefferson Station, walk to Market St and catch the Market-Frankford Line subway towards Frankford. Get off at the 8th St station. Exit the station, head north on 8th St, then turn left onto Girard Ave and finally turn left onto 7th St, where you will find the Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site at 532 N 7th St.

If you are in the nearby area and prefer walking, start at the Trenton City Hall located at 319 E State St, Trenton. Walk north on E State St towards N Broad St. Continue walking straight until you reach the Trenton Train Station. From there, follow the NJ Transit bus or train options outlined above to reach the Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site. This will be a longer journey, so be prepared for a good amount of walking.
