From the Carlsbad Main Street Transit Station, take the Greyhound bus to Albuquerque. From there, you will need to catch a flight to San Diego International Airport. Once you arrive at San Diego International Airport, take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) Blue Line trolley towards UC San Diego. Get off at the 'University Town Center' stop. From there, you can catch bus number 30 to La Jolla Shores Park. The bus will take you directly to the park entrance.

If you're near the center of Carlsbad, you can head to the nearest bus stop and take the local bus to the Greyhound bus terminal. From there, take the Greyhound bus to Albuquerque and then take a flight to San Diego International Airport. Once you arrive in San Diego, you can take public transport as described above to reach La Jolla Shores Park.

You can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Carlsbad. Start by biking towards the Carlsbad Main Street Transit Station. Take the bike route towards the city center and head to the Greyhound bus terminal. After taking the bus to Albuquerque and flying to San Diego, you can rent another bike from a rental service available at the San Diego airport or nearby to ride to La Jolla Shores Park.
