Getting There

    From any point in Carson National Forest, head towards US-64 E. Follow US-64 E until you reach the junction with NM-37 S. Turn right onto NM-37 S and continue for about 20 miles until you reach the town of Capitan. In Capitan, turn left onto US-380 E. Continue on US-380 E for approximately 20 miles. You will see signs for Lincoln Historic Site. The site is located at Highway 380 Mm 97, 5, Lincoln, NM 88338.

    Public transportation options may be limited in this area. However, if you are traveling from Ruidoso, you can take a local bus service that operates between Ruidoso and Capitan.
