    To reach Fort Union National Monument from Chaco Culture National Historical Park, start by getting back to NM-57. Drive south on NM-57 for approximately 18 miles until you reach the junction with US-550. Take a left onto US-550 heading east. Continue on US-550 for about 19 miles until you reach the small town of Bernalillo. Here, take the exit onto I-25 North. Follow I-25 North for around 50 miles until you reach Exit 366 for NM-161 toward Watrous. Take this exit and follow NM-161 for about 8 miles. Fort Union National Monument will be on your right at 3115 NM-161, Watrous, NM 87753.
