If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Las Vegas, NM. From Las Vegas, take NM-518 north for approximately 24 miles. You will reach the junction with NM-434. Turn left onto NM-434 and continue for about 9 miles. Coyote Creek State Park will be on your right at 925 NM-434, Guadalupita, NM 87722. Keep an eye out for park signage.

If you are using public transportation, take a Greyhound bus to Las Vegas, NM. From the Greyhound station, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare service to take you to Coyote Creek State Park, as there are no direct public transportation options to the park. The taxi ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to check with your driver to confirm the cost, which typically ranges from $50 to $70.

For the adventurous, biking from Las Vegas is an option. Take NM-518 north, then NM-434. This route is about 33 miles and may take several hours depending on your pace.
