If you're driving from Santa Fe, take US-84 W/NM-68 N for approximately 30 miles. After crossing the Rio Grande, continue onto NM-76 N for about 10 miles. The Las Trampas Historic District will be on your left at the address 2381-2377 NM-76, Chamisal, NM 87521. There is no entrance fee to access the historic district.

Public transportation options to Las Trampas are limited. However, you can take a bus from Santa Fe to Taos via the NM-68 route. Once you reach Taos, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare to cover the remaining distance of about 20 miles to Las Trampas.
