If you are traveling by car, head towards Grants, NM. From the center of Grants, take NM-53 East for about 15 miles. Turn right onto Ice Caves Road (County Road 42). The Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano will be located at 12000 Ice Caves Rd, Grants, NM 87020. There is a parking area available for visitors. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee, typically around $10 per vehicle.

For those using public transportation, take a Greyhound or local bus service to Grants, NM. Once in Grants, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Ice Caves Road, as public transportation does not service this area directly. Inform your driver to drop you off at 12000 Ice Caves Rd. From there, you can hike the remaining distance to the Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano.
