Car
If you're traveling by car in the Rio Grande Valley, head towards Albuquerque. From the center of Albuquerque, take I-40 West. Continue on I-40 W for about 12 miles and take the exit for Coors Blvd NW. Turn left onto Coors Blvd NW and continue for a few miles until you reach Western Trail NW. Turn right onto Western Trail NW, and you will find Petroglyph National Monument on your left. There are no entrance fees for the monument, but be aware that parking is limited at the visitor center.

Public Transportation
Using public transportation, take the ABQ RIDE bus service. You can catch the bus from various locations in Albuquerque. Use Route 66, which takes you along Central Avenue. Get off at Coors Blvd, and from there, it’s about a 1.5-mile walk to the monument entrance. Make sure to check the ABQ RIDE schedule for the most current routes and timings. The bus fare is approximately $1.00 per ride.

If you're inclined to bike, Albuquerque has bike-friendly routes. You can use bike lanes along Coors Blvd NW to reach Petroglyph National Monument. Starting from the city center, head towards Coors Blvd and follow the bike lanes. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated, especially during warmer months. The ride is approximately 7 miles from downtown.
