Start at the Sandia Peak Tramway parking lot. Head east on NM-536 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with Juan Tabo Road. Turn left onto Juan Tabo Road and continue for approximately 2.5 miles. You'll see signs for the Juan Tabo Canyon Loop trailhead on your right. The parking area for the trailhead is located at 6F3W+4F, Albuquerque, NM 87122. Note that parking may require a small fee, so be prepared with cash or a card.

From the Sandia Peak Tramway, you can take the ABQ Ride bus #12 (the 'Juan Tabo' route) heading south. Board the bus at the nearest stop to the tramway station.
