Car
From downtown Albuquerque, take I-40 West towards Flagstaff. Continue for approximately 7 miles and take exit 157 for NM-528 North. Merge onto NM-528 and continue for about 8 miles. Turn left onto Western Trail NW. The Petroglyph National Monument will be on your right. Look for the entrance sign.

Public Transportation
From the Albuquerque Alvarado Transportation Center, take the ABQ Ride Bus Route 66 towards the Westside. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the stop at Western Trail NW and 4th Street NW. From the bus stop, walk north on Western Trail NW for about 10 minutes. The entrance to the Petroglyph National Monument will be on your left.

If you are starting from the Sandia Peak Tramway, head south on NM-556. Turn left onto I-40 West. Follow I-40 for approximately 7 miles and take exit 157 for NM-528 North. Merge onto NM-528 and drive for 8 miles. Turn left onto Western Trail NW and you will see the Petroglyph National Monument on your right side.
