Car
Start from the center of Shiprock. Head south on US-491 S for approximately 10 miles. After that, take a left onto CO-160 E and continue for about 45 miles until you see signs for Mesa Verde National Park. Follow the signs into the park, and continue on Tram Rte until you reach the Wetherill Mesa Information center, which will be on your right.
Public Transportation
From Shiprock, take the Navajo Transit bus service towards Farmington. Get off at the Farmington station and transfer to a bus heading towards Cortez. Once you reach Cortez, transfer to a bus that goes to Mesa Verde National Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Wetherill Mesa Information center. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
