Walking
Start from the Socorro Plaza located at 200 Park St, Socorro, NM 87801. Head east on Park St towards California St for about 2 blocks until you reach the intersection with California St. Turn left onto California St and continue for about 1 mile until you reach U.S. Route 60. Cross the highway and continue straight onto Lemitar Rd. Follow Lemitar Rd for approximately 3 miles. You will see signs for the Socorro Nature Area as you approach. The entrance will be on your left.

From the Socorro Plaza, head east on Park St towards California St for about 2 blocks. Turn left onto California St and bike for about 1 mile until you reach U.S. Route 60. Carefully cross the highway and continue straight onto Lemitar Rd. Follow Lemitar Rd for about 3 miles. Look for the signs directing you to the Socorro Nature Area entrance on your left.

From the Socorro Plaza, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 200 Park St. Take the Mountain Trail bus heading towards Lemitar.
