    From the center of Taos Ski Valley, head south on NM-150 S. Continue for approximately 2 miles. Look for the Twining Blue Lake Pack Trail on your left. The Wheeler Peak Historical Marker is located along this trail. There is no parking lot directly at the marker, so please park safely along the road and walk towards the trailhead.
