    If you're driving, start from the Valles Caldera National Preserve Visitor Center. Take NM-4 East for about 7 miles until you reach the junction with Jemez Springs. Continue on NM-4 for another 5 miles, then turn left onto State Road 126. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles until you reach the Alamo Canyon trailhead, which is located on the right side of the road. There is no entrance fee for the trailhead, but be sure to check for any parking regulations.
